History was made this past Saturday as the Dragon House hosted the first ever fully-sanctioned amateur mixed martial arts event in the SF Bay Area. 18 fighters, from 11 schools across California, fought in 9 fights in front of a capacity crowd.
Many thanks to the California Amateur Mixed Martial Arts Organization, who not only sanctioned the event, but provided the professional referees, judges, inspectors, and doctor, all of which took our fights to the next level and beyond.

Dragon House is proud to announce the first-ever fully-sanctioned Amateur MMA event in San Francisco will be happening here next month!
On February 20th, Dragon House will make history with some of the top MMA amateurs around, with official, licensed referees, timekeepers, inspectors, and judges via the California Athletic Commission.
Any interested fighters are encouraged to contact Dragon House ASAP (415-349-4467) to reserve a fight. Slots available in nearly all weight classes. Since this is an official event, we need time to complete registration, physicals, and paperwork beforehand, so call early.
This is going to be a groundbreaking event – do not miss it.

When : 20 February 2010 @ 3pm (doors open at 2pm).

The next one is going to be the biggest yet, so put your name down early, bring your family and friends, and see the best amateur MMA fighters Northern California has to offer in an exciting Pankration-rules exhibition.
